Long wall short wall method
The centre line method, refers to a method for estimating material quantities and associated costs for proposed buildings and other built assets. This method allows for some changes in material or wall make up by defining a long wall construction and a short wall construction, which may be different. In the same way as the centre line method a centre line is taken down the centre of the walls but is calculated as separate long and short parts as opposed to a single whole.
